Newlyweds David and Kim decide to put aside their differences to raise three children: Zack, Isabella and Haley in the suburbs of Santa Rosa, California. David and his daughters (Isabella, Haley) move in with Kim and her son (Zack) successfully escaping the clutches of his overprotective mother Sylvia, for now. However, David must face a new obstacle in his parenting life when he clashes with Kim's less-enthusiastic father and retired firefighter George. Other prominent characters are David's best friend Edgar Sanchez and Kim's coworker Lucy Campbell, a single mom juggling two jobs. |
