Taste Buds
Basil, the owner of a Chicago restaurant, has his business changed by the new optimistic and social-savvy apprentice, Cocoa. Initially looking for a part-time job, Cocoa manages to help Basil keep his business on the rails by recruiting her friends: Kale, Saffron and Rye to help out in the restaurant during the grand re-opening. At the same time, Basil, in return, teaches Cocoa the art of running a business with his superb culinary skills, selecting her to carry on with the restaurant when he retires. Cocoa faces multiple obstacles while trying to help Basil manage the restaurant, including having to deal with his annoying daughter, Olive, her school and home life and the meddlesome owners of a Chinese restaurant across the street.
