Ignition is the second album released by The Offspring on October 16, 1992. Some sources incorrectly list March 8, 1993 as the release date. Although not widely recognised, it is a firm fan favorite and contains the track "Dirty Magic", held as one the band's finest achievements. This album had one outtake, "Mission From God", released on compilation Punk-O-Rama 10 in 2005. The track "Take It Like a Man" was originally recorded in 1991 for a Flipside magazine compilation, The Big One, produced by Epitaph Records owner (and Bad Religion guitarist) Brett Gurewitz. The last track, "Forever and a Day", is not to be confused with Death by Stereo (who are also on Epitaph) song that has the same name.
