Eurycratides (Template:Lang-grc-gre, "wide ruler") was the thirteenth king of Sparta from the Agiad dynasty.[1] He succeeded his father Anaxander[2] around 615 BC and reigned during a devastating period of war with Tegea.[3][4]

In 590 BC Eurycratides was succeeded by his son Leon ("lion").[5] His grandson was King Anaxandridas II.
