AirBOX
I've added a short section on Ion's new AirBOX premium service. I figured, since they've updated the airbox.com domain and are selling AirBOX boxes now, that means that the service has officially launched. It still needs to be expanded, though. 64.107.114.99 (talk) 22:51, 6 June 2012 (UTC)
Merger with ION Media And Scripps proposed

Fall 2008
In the corner of the screen on the ION network it reads: 'in X-amount of days, new look, new shows.' This will take place around Monday, Sept. 8. Is the network revamping, and if so, should it be mentioned here? 98.221.133.96 (talk) 02:03, 22 August 2008 (UTC)
- We're already on it; ION's revamp plans are mentioned in the primetime schedule section. An ION press release has been sourced in said section. Hope that answers your question. -- M (speak/spoken) 03:20, 23 August 2008 (UTC)
Batman & Superman: The Animated Series
These series are NOT mentioned in the press release. They are also animated. The word at sitcoms online is i has acquired 12 series at this time. 10 are mentioned in the press release. They are going to air from 6PM-11PM. None are animated series. Both Batman & Superman air currently on Boomerang (TV channel). --172.146.187.6 22:55, 30 June 2006 (UTC)
Picking Up worthy shows
It has recently been announced that Everwood is going to be canceled over on the WB. I have been an avid fan of the show since the start 4 years ago. It is a family oriented show that has managed to be original while at the same time not compromising its morality. Please consider picking up this show before it is gone forever. I think you will be pleasantly surprised by the loyal fan following that the show will bring along with it. Everwood Fan —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 68.195.3.97 (talk • contribs) 02:11, May 23, 2006.

Article name
I believe that moving this page to I (Independent Television) (TV network) was completely unnecessary and uncalled for. Should we move this page to I (Independent Television) or back to I (TV network)? One thing's for sure, we CANNOT, under ANY circumstances, leave this page where it is. I'm sorry, but this is NOT a suitable title for an article. -- M (speak/spoken) 14:51, 30 July 2006 (UTC)
- I moved it back, per the earlier discussion at American Broadcasting Company (which was moved last week to something like ABC (American TV Network). I (Independent Television) (TV network) is an unlikely search term, so I agree the page move was uncalled for, although if there are other suggestions, we should be open to them.--Firsfron of Ronchester 15:06, 30 July 2006 (UTC)
Not clear enough...
The "Family" programing thing is over with right? 2 weeks ago this netowrk showed a blaxploitation double header consisting of Superfly and Shaft. Yes they were edited for broadcast, but they still ain't family freindly. And that Mytv stuff is filled with sex. Not that i mind, i love sex and violence, but the article wasn't very clear about the fate of the "family" thing. This is great though, i hate that family freindly bull ---- and i wanted this so-called"network" to fail and it has. ---- you paxton! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 151.205.186.164 (talk • contribs)
Ok; for starters that is largely off topic; however I think it might be worth noting that i has deviated from "Family Programming". Especially with the airing of "Charlies Angels" They didn't call it T&A-TV for nothing (Tits and ---). I also detest the word blaxploitation; It is beyond illiterate. Johnzw 22:23, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
They are also showing Bodog's MMA fights twice a week.
Is there a section in the article that indicates that ION took its focus away from the "family-friendly" shows? I could not find it, and I think considering that PAX started out as such a family/religious network, this shift is important to note. TomStike (talk) 20:58, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
Created a list of programs
I just created the List of programs broadcast by ION Television. Can you guys please help me with it? Thanks!Nickelodeonfan2007 02:36, 19 May 2007 (UTC)
Name Change
If ION is being sued because it copied off another company's name, then I've got a suggestion. The network name should change to Channel America. Two reasons;
1) Channel America was a model for this network (ION/i/Pax), and 2) The network originally called Channel America has since changed its name to America One. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.62.209.152 (talk • contribs)
- Don't ask us, this isn't what the talk page is for. We'll just have to wait and see. -- M (speak/spoken) 16:44, 19 May 2007 (UTC)
- Actually, 209.62.209.152, Channel America didNOT end up as America One. They are two completely different channels. Channel America, through its parent company, Channel America Broadcasting, ended up merging with Morton Downey, Jr.'s company, LDE Media Techniqs, after it ceased operations, while America One ended up merging with B2 Broadcasting to form the holding company One Media Corp, Inc. Sometime afterwards, America One was purchased from One Media Corp by Center Post Networks & merged with Youtoo TV & became Youtoo America. You need to start reconsidering where you get your information from. 2600:1700:C960:2270:55F1:E5C5:E3C1:7CC9 (talk) 01:04, 1 August 2018 (UTC)
Incorrect schedule?
An anonnymus IP has recently change the primetime schedule table. As this IP was recently accused of vandalism, it may be possible that this information is incorrect. Is the schedule right? I have no access to ION so I can't check it by myself. Bolt 20:00, 26 May 2007 (UTC)

The Facts of Life?
I just saw this on the program list under the "Future" section. I don't remember that show being part of the deal, but if so, that's a big development. (Or is it junk of the "Coming soon to ABC Family: Blossom" variety? WAVY 10 22:30, 27 June 2007 (UTC)

Questionable Content
The following excerpt contains poor grammar and I question its neutrality.
"The network's wholesome family-friendly format was lampooned by other television series such as The Simpsons, Will & Grace, and MADtv. These show in turn were about dysfunctional families, homosexuals and comedians trying to emulate the more aclaimed Saturday Night Live airing on NBC" 05:01, 21 September 2007 (UTC)

Discussion
- Any additional comments:
- ION Media Networks' first-generation corporate page (when the network was still called i) originally had ION as an acronym: "Innovate, Originate, Navigate" (I believe that was what it was). Perhaps that was the reason why ION was capitalized in the first place. -- M (speak/spoken) 04:19, 31 August 2008 (UTC)
- The above discussion is preserved as an archive of the proposal. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on this talk page. No further edits should be made to this section.
- Settlement with the other Ion Television?
I noticed that Ion Television has acquired the domain names iontelevision.com and ionlife.com from Positive Ions, the party that was suing them approximately a year ago. However, I haven't found any news to suggest they have actually settled.

Merge Ion Media Networks
Ion Media Networks would seem to be subsumed by this article. ENeville (talk) 05:23, 19 February 2009 (UTC)
- Object Ion Media Networks is a company and Ion Television is a network. So i think the articles should not be merged. Powergate92Talk 00:22, 21 February 2009 (UTC)
- Object Keep Ion Television and Ion Media Networks as seperate pages. People would want to know the history of Ion Media too. Also, what if Ion Media decides to sell some of their assets or buy a couple other networks? Not like either transaction is going to happen as long as the company's around, but you'll never know. Mbrstooge (talk) 20:03, 22 February 2009 (UTC)
- No Merge, other networks also have seperate articles for the parent company. While WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS tells us that's no reason to not merge, it seems to be the pattern here at WP.oknazevad (talk) 17:50, 3 May 2009 (UTC)

Pax/Ion Television
Some user thinks Ion Television isn't originally called Pax when it first started and keeps removing that information from the article. FilmandTVFan28 (talk) 20:06, 25 November 2013 (UTC)
- The user seems to believe that Pax should be split off as a separate article, as it is a separate entity. The cited facts of history don't seem to bear this out, at all, and the current redirect seems correct to me. But I would like to see what arguments in favor of a split the user might have. oknazevad (talk) 17:34, 26 November 2013 (UTC)
