Concept illustration of Soft computing

Soft computing is a collection of artificial intelligence-based computational techniques.[1]

History

The theory and techniques related to soft computing were first introduced in 1980s.[2] The term "soft computing" was coined by Lotfi A. Zadeh.[3][1] It combines the fundamentals of neural network, fuzzy logic, and genetic algorithm which, in turn, offers the superiority of humanlike problem solving capabilities.[4]

Notable journals
