Paswan is a surname of Pasi community.^[1] This is a list of notable people who bear the name Paswan. There is also an Indian caste that uses the name and Surname.

The Pasis are one of the well known communities of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. A number of them are residing in Barrackpur subdivision of North 24 Parganas of West Bengal. They are also called Paswan.
