Not to be confused with Excel High School in South Boston[1]

Excel High School is a public high school in Alabama. Panthers are the school mascot and black and gold the school colors.[2] It has about 310 students.

The school is located in a rural area and the largest ever graduating class what 79 students.[3] In 2020 the student body was about 70 percent white and a quarter African American.[4]

Lee Roy Jordan who played football in the NFL is an alum.[5]
