The Scary of Sixty-First is an American horror thriller film directed by Dasha Nekrasova and written by Nekrasova and Madeline Quinn. It stars Betsey Brown, Quinn, Nekrasova and Mark Rapaport.[1][2][3]

The film had its worldwide premiere at the 71st Berlin International Film Festival in the Encounters section.[4][5]

Critical reception

At Rotten Tomatoes, 73% of 11 critics' reviews were positive, with an average rating of 6.80/10.[7] Christian Blauvelt of IndieWire praised the film as "thrilling and unforgettable", drawing comparisons to Eyes Wide Shut (1999), 1970s thrillers and the works of Roman Polanski.[8]
