About me
Hello! I’m an aspiring musician, poet, and writer who enjoys analyzing artistic expression in any kind of medium. I am currently in three bands, one of which I front.
My alternative band, The Thylacines, has one recurring motif in its creative process: genuine artistic expression. Paraphrased, this ideology states that my band makes music for the artistic expression of it rather than a desire to comply to popular culture. To successfully convey this motif, our music traverses a wide range of genres, including bedroom pop, alternative rock, art pop, hip hop, baroque pop, and jazz. Our musical genre is always shifting timbres depending on the context of our designated concept album. We love the Indie music scene, and I especially enjoy listening to underground musician’s works of art.
