The company currently has five branches in the United Kingdom, four of which are located in London and one in Manchester.[1]
The first store was opened on Tottenham Court Road, London in 2015.[2]
While four of the five London shops are mainly focused on selling grocery items, London Waterloo station branch caters for hot foods, and offers a number of seats for eating in Korean meals.[3]
The company is part of the H Mart group, that launched its first store in Europe locating it in London New Malden in 2013.[4]
Although specializing in Korean food, a variety of other asian products, from Japan, China, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, Malaysia, Taiwan etc, and a number of stationary and household products are part of its assortment.
Oseyo has a collaboration with the Korean companies Kakao and Artbox.
When translated from Korean into English, the name "Oseyo" means "Welcome".
