Back of My Mind is the upcoming debut studio album by American singer H.E.R.[1] It will be released on June 18, 2021 through MBK Entertainment and RCA.
Background
In April 2021, H.E.R. won the Academy Award for Best Original Song for her song "Fight for You" from the film Judas and the Black Messiah. She also performed at the 2021 Super Bowl's pre-show concert along with singers Miley Cyrus, Eric Church, and Jazmine Sullivan.[2]
Release
H.E.R. released the single "Damage" on October 21, 2020.[3][4] The song reached number one on Urban Radio and peaked at number 44 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart.[5][6] On April 23, 2021, H.E.R. released "Come Through", a duet with American singer Chris Brown. A music video for the song was released on May 13.[7] "We Made It" was released on June 11, 2021, alongside the announcement of Back of My Mind. A trailer was released for the album.[8]
