Thanthai Periyar Government Institute of Technology

Thanthai Periyar Government Institute of Technology, located at Bagayam Vellore recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) was established in July 1990. This institute is one among the six Government Engineering colleges fully governed by the Directorate of Technical Education (DOTE) - Government of Tamil Nadu catering the needs of the people of this region. The college is affiliated to the Anna University.The college is equipped with good laboratory, computer facilities and the students are trained by well qualified and experienced staff members. The college ranks in the top 10% among 220 colleges affiliated to Anna University. Our students make their mark in academics and extra curricular activities. They are also doing very well in their chosen fields, when they pass out from this institute.

Location

TPGIT is located in a serene atmosphere at Bagayam, Vellore which is 130 km west of Chennai and 220 km east of Bangalore. It is well connected to both these metropolises by buses that leave from the heart of the town. Katpadi railway junction, 12 Km from the college is directly connected to chennai, Bangalore & from there to the rest of India. The nearest airport is at Chennai.

hi guys.... this is nungsang jamir. a gratuate with arrears from TPGIT college. life was fun in campus and is fun and will be fun always. i got a lot of benifit from this college especially communication skill and soft skill.Any way bye!!! but i warn you guys that there is a crazy security guard near the main gate. i think he is a foreigner or may be he is an alibino.
