Fulfilling COI edit requests

Hi @Anton.bersh, when you fulfill a Conflict of Interest edit request, as you did here, please remember to follow the instructions listed at Wikipedia:Edit requests, namely the mandatory copyright attribution to the edit requester, and tagging requests when done. Thanks for your contributions to Wikipedia! EpicPupper 18:43, 19 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Comparison of SSH clients, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page RSA. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 05:54, 27 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Authentication methods in Comparison of SSH clients

The table you have composed in Comparison of SSH clients#Authentication methods lists key algorithms, not "authentication methods". Authentication methods are things like "password", "public key", "kerberos", etc... See Secure Shell Protocol#Algorithms and Secure Shell Protocol#Algorithms --Prikryl (talk) 08:00, 28 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The article pretty obviously cites sources, so what on Earth made you put a WP:BLPPROD tag on it? Please be more careful, because such actions only cause extra work for others. Phil Bridger (talk) 17:51, 6 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Gopher articles

Hi! I removed your PROD tags on GopherVR, Jughead (search engine), and Gopher+ - the first one had some substantial sources available that I could found in a couple minutes by simply searching for "Gopher VR" along with "GopherVR", and the second and third have factual information that can be sourced and merged into Gopher (protocol). It's important to consider alternatives to deletion before proposing for deletion, including merging (WP:PRODNOM), including for niche technologies that are also part of the history of computing technologies. Hi, thanks for finding sources for GopherVR! Your sources were missing some attributes (like paper and email authors, titles, dates), so I added those in. Now all but two sources have authors and metadata. I could not find Internet Scout source (the page just has nothing about GopherVR) and Videos circa 1994-95 of GopherVR (the author is not specified, but I'm almost certain this page belongs to Mark P. McCahill). Could you help with those sources? Anton.bersh (talk) 16:46, 2 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

escaping templates

In response to WP:TH#Editing information about a company you work for, I hope I am allowed to introduce you to Template:Tlx, which makes stuff like that considerably easier. Your example would be typed as {{Request edit}}, which also renders a nice link to the template in case anyone wants to view its documentation. Victor Schmidt (talk) 12:28, 26 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I went ahead and sent the article to AfD after you removed the PROD tag. Thanks for attending to the tag removal. Netherzone (talk) 17:16, 31 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, such as at Wikipedia:Teahouse, (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.
