Michael E. Heisley is an American businessman who is the majority owner of the Memphis Grizzlies. Heisley regularly appears on the Forbes 400 Richest Americans list. On Monday October 2, 2006, Michael Heisley announced that he has reached an agreement to sell his seventy percent interest of the NBA’s Memphis Grizzlies and the operator of FedExForum, to Grizzly Acquisition Holdings, LLC, an investment group headed by former NBA player Brian Davis.
Heisley is also involved in multiple business ventures, such as:
- Heico Holding, Inc.
- The Heico Companies, LLC
- Heico Acquisitions
These companies own about forty businesses worldwide.
