Birendra Kumar Kanaudiya is a Nepalese politician. He was elected to the Pratinidhi Sabha in the 1999 election on behalf of the Nepali Congress.[1] In 2001 he was appointed as Assistant Minister for Water Resources in Sher Bahadur Deuba's expanded cabinet.[2] Recently he was elected in a provincial election as a MLA from Kapilvastu constituency 3 sub-constituency 2.[3] He was the candidate for CM for Lumbini Province from Nepali Congress. Still Congress couldn't get a majority so he was elected parliamentry party leader. He is the current leader of opposition of Lumbini Province.[3]
