Kalman Juvelier (Template:Lang-yi, 1863-1939)[1] was a professional actor and Yiddish music singer.[2][3][4]

Juvelier was born in Lemberg, Galicia, Austria-Hungary (today Lviv, Ukraine) on May 12, 1863.[5][6] In his teens he traveled throughout Galicia performing as a folk singer. He worked with the Broder singer, and toured Romania and Bukovina as an itinerant actor. Juvelier briefly joined Moses Horowitz's troupe as a singer in 1880.

Juvelier, spent the next 17 years performing in Europe and North Africa with his own troupe and others, including Sigmund Mogulesko and Abraham Goldfaden.

In 1900 Juvelier emigrated to New York City, sailing from Hamburg in September.[6] There he made many Yiddish language recordings.[7] He became a Naturalized citizen in 1906.[5]

He died on December 15, 1939 in Brooklyn, New York.[8] He was buried in Washington Cemetery.[9]
