History
Founded in 1999, Gameloft is an international publisher and developer of video games for mobile phones.
Partnership agreements with leading licensors and personalities such as Ubisoft Entertainment, Universal Pictures, Viacom, Sony Pictures, FifPro, Paris Hilton ent., Lamborghini, Derek Jeter, Vijay Singh, Andriy Shevchenko or Djibril Cissé, Gameloft has formed strong relationships with international brands. In addition to the partnerships, Gameloft owns and operates such brands as Block Breaker Deluxe, Asphalt: Urban GT and New York Nights.[citation needed]

Gameloft games are award winning games and receive the best reviews in the industry. Gameloft won the award for Best Mobile Games Studio given by The Develop Industry Excellence Awards held at the Develop Conference & Expo on July 12th 2006.
