Paul Glatzel (born 20 February 2001) is an English professional footballer who plays for Tranmere Rovers, on loan from Liverpool, as a striker.[1]
Early and personal life
Glatzel was born in Liverpool, England to German parents.[2]
Club career
Glatzel began his career with Liverpool at under-9 level.[2] He captained the under-18 youth team.[3] He signed a new long-term contract with the club in September 2019.[4] He missed the 2019–20 season due to injury,[5] and suffered further injuries in September 2020,[6] and November 2020.[7]
He moved on loan to Tranmere Rovers in July 2021.[8][9] Glatzel made his professional debut on 7 August 2021, starting in a 1-0 win over Walsall.[10]
International career
Glatzel played for Germany at under-15 and under-16 youth levels, and also represented England at youth level.[2]
