Stanley Peter Dance is a prominent conchologist with a world-wide reputation. He has written innumerable books and papers on conchology. He has had at least five shells named after him e.g. Acteon Dancei.[1]
Biography
He was born on 3rd February 1932 in Maidenhead, Berkshire, and he currently resides in Carlisle.
