There is some in Who's Who, some also at http://www.boltonsmayors.org.uk/tree-russell-w.pdf. The newspaper reference mentions a son in Fiji, who is going to be Thomas Taylor Russell (born 1897), Chief Police Magistrate there in 1939 (The Colonial Legal Service List, Issue 172 1939 p. 40, Google Books). He is given as an Oxford BA. He was probably called to the bar at the Inner Temple.

William Taylor Russell may have been an army cadet made Territorial Army 2nd lieutenant in 1916.[https://books.google.co.uk/books?id=qK45AQAAMAAJ&pg=RA75-PA206] Possibly in the motor trade in Manchester after WWI.

There was a legal case involving William Russell's will. [[User:Charles Matthews|Charles Matthews]] ([[User talk:Charles Matthews|talk]]) 08:10, 6 September 2021 (UTC)
