Shahida Mini, also known as Mini (Urdu; شاہدہ منی; born 1972) is a Pakistani film actress and singer.[2] She runs her own production house SM Production.[3]
Early life
Shahida Mini was born on 1972 in Lahore, Pakistan.[4][5] She completed her studies from University of Lahore.[5][4]
Career
Shahida started singing at age 10.[5][6] Shahida parents encouraged her to sing and she started to sing at Radio Pakistan.[5][7] Shahida began her career as a child artist and made her debute as an actress in Punjabi movie Jahez.[8][9][4] She appeared in movies Insaf Ka Tarazo, Achha Shookar Wala, Dushman Dada, Damto Zor and Taubaa.[10] Shahida also appeared in movies Chahat, Dil Lagi, Nargis and Dehleez.[11][12] She also appeared on television in dramas Qafas and Manjhdaar.[13][14] For her contributions towards the film and television industry, she was honored by the Government of Pakistan with the Pride of Performance in 2013.[1]
Personal life
Shahida Mini is married.[15] She has one daughter named Mehreen Atta.[15] Shahida's daughter is married to actor Fahad Shaikh.[15]
