History

Old World Lies

Their first release, the EP Old World Lies, was released in 2008[1] on Unfamiliar Records and received a positive press and blog response.[2] It was accompanied by a video for the song "Requiem for a Scene".[3] On October 20, 2010, Brasstronaut performed a version of Old World Lies on a balcony in London for the viral music show BalconyTV.[4]

As of 2021, the band's website was expired and its members had become active in music education and music therapy.
