Himanshu7777, please read the comments on the draft. There are multiple people using the same name Shahjahan Shamim. Only the researcher is using Md. in front of it. The filmmaker is probably the most notable for having a website and films. The YouTuber musician / entrepreneur doesn't have external news coverage, only his own websites and press releases. Himanshu7777, over half of your references are to the subject's own media or press releases. These need to be removed. Also there isn't any desecription of the singles or albums he released that have become popular or notable in the industry. Thanks sir your reply. I read carefully Criteria for musicians and ensembles in Wikipedia. There are few points and they stated like this Musicians or ensembles (this category includes bands, singers, rappers, orchestras, DJs, musical theatre groups, instrumentalists, etc.) may be notable if they meet at least one of the following criteria. And I think he passed this point: released songs on major record label. Yes his music played on BBC music radio; he got an email from BBC radio. Himanshu7777, are you associated with this particular artist. How do you know he got an email from BBC radio? If you are, you need to declare WP:COI. If you want to show that his music played on BBC Radio, you should cite their website's playlist. Same with the Bangaldesh television program. Hi, I'm confused as to why my article is being nominated for deletion under the justification that "there is already a section in the main article for that". In a similar case, there is a section for "Stings" in the main "Bee" article, but another article specifically for "Bee Stings". The same basic principle is there, but my article is being argued for deletion.

The other reason for deletion is arguing the subject does not have enough content to be its own article, despite there being a Bee Sting page, and an entire page called "Insect Bites and Stings".

AngusWOOF Yes, declined, that's my mistake. But there are individual articles for bee sting even though there is a section for "Stings" in the main article. Why is my submission declined while the other article isn't? I don't understand why I'd talk about it at Mosquito when you declined it, and when the section for "stings" in Bee sting is still there. Request you to illaborate the reason for rejection of the page so that I can make necessary changes. The reference part is all from media articles which is unrelated. I do not understand the problem there. Would make neutral point of view for sure.

Melophile1711, the draft was declined, not rejected, so you can resubmit when you've fixed it up. It reads like promotional advertising / mission statement / corporate website verbiage. For example: "offer a fresh approach and a platform to provide underserved Indian professionals with access to investment expertise". This should be in quotes if it was taken from there. The references also need to provide significant coverage on the company yet be external to the company. I mostly see articles that reference the same news announcement about it receiving 7 million in a funding round. Please read WP:ORGCRIT Also there needs to be a reason why this company is not one of the millions of run-of-the-mill WP:MILL businesses that are out there. Larryvnash, you can check out Wikipedia:Username policy, which gives instructions on renaming your account and also deleting (or courtesy vanishing).

Help with details

Hello,

Thanks for the notes on the submission. Would it be possible to help sort out what sort of sources wikipedia needs? This is my first actual addition that was not to a previously published article, so I am not sure what is needed.

It is a magazine I purchase and find all the time in the shops here, so it seems it should have a page, and tried to add the info other sites and magazines have, so I welcome your input, especially since you seem to know a lot about how articles and additions should be structured.

Zune4ever, it needs significant coverage by other external sources. If another well-known website or media presence reviews the magazine in detail that would be helpful. If it's some local magazine, it needs some national coverage. I understand that, that is why I included the details about the E3 judging and Gamescom since it demonstrates international details about the magazine. I included many of the things I saw on other magazines such as PcgamesN (also a site I love), Polygon etc. But since this is my first submission I want to ensure I do things right, so any guidance on what those magazine articles have that I am missing. Identity theft or deception of true Identity

I have deleted my article sections on Larry Nash yet this person who goes by the name of J Larry Nash is using my Wikipedia Profile to lead my intended traffic to his attention. https://en.everybodywiki.com/Larry_Nash. I believe actors connected to Discogs.com and Amazon are leading this campaign of deception. Larryvnash, Wikipedia doesn't have control over websites that copy-paste any information posted on Wikipedia. So I would suggest bothering the folks at everybodywiki. If you want, you can request that your draft here be speedy deleted since that one has a history with your adding a bunch of information and deleting it later. If someone else is using your name you might want to read through Wikipedia:Username policy / WP:REALNAME especially if someone hacked your account. I am attempting to completely delete my Wikipedia account but Wikipedia is reporting to me that the page that contains an artist template has not been deleted although it is not visible. Persian.palas, I suggest you find more external news sources such as unassociated newspapers, magazines, websites, journals, that cover the organization. Also you should disclose that you are associated with the organization at WP:DISCLOSE It should not read like an outline of the organization's website. He is not a judge on Strictly Come Dancing but is consistently asked by the BBC to review the professional dancers on a talk radio show which airs on a regularly basis once Strictly Come Dancing is on. New Page Patrol newsletter September 2021

Hello AngusWOOF,

Please join this discussion - there is increase in the abuse of Wikipedia and its processes by POV pushers, Paid Editors, and by holders of various user rights including Autopatrolled. Even our review systems themselves at AfC and NPR have been infiltrated. The good news is that detection is improving, but the downside is that it creates the need for a huge clean up - which of course adds to backlogs.

Copyright violations are also a serious issue. Most non-regular contributors do not understand why, and most of our Reviewers are not experts on copyright law - and can't be expected to be, but there is excellent, easy-to-follow advice on COPYVIO detection here.

At the time of the last newsletter (#25, December 2020) the backlog was only just over 2,000 articles. New Page Review is an official system. It's the only firewall against the inclusion of new, improper pages.

There are currently 706 New Page Reviewers plus a further 1,080 admins, but as much as nearly 90% of the patrolling is still being done by around only the 20 or so most regular patrollers.

If you are no longer very active on Wikipedia or you no longer wish to be part of the New Page Reviewer user group, please consider asking any admin to remove you from the list. This will enable NPP to have a better overview of its performance and what improvements need to be made to the process or its software.

Various awards are due to be allocated by the end of the year and barnstars are overdue. If you would like to manage this, please let us know. Indeed, if you are interested in coordinating NPR, it does not involve much time and the tasks are described here.
