George Abel Rothrock Jr. (1932 – 1993) was a professor of European history at the University of Alberta, known for his translations and for his book on Huguenots.
Education and career
Rothrock was a graduate of the University of Delaware. He became a graduate student of history at the University of Minnesota, earning both a master's degree and Ph.D. there. Before joining the University of Alberta, he taught at the University of Omaha, University of Michigan, and University of Saskatchewan.[1] He joined the Alberta faculty as an associate professor in 1964 and became a full professor in 1971.[citation needed]
