Magdalena Bay is an American synth-pop duo, consisting of members Mica Tenenbaum and Matthew Lewin. The duo debuted in 2016 with the release of their debut song, "Voc Pop", in 2016.

History

Mica Tenenbaum and Matthew Lewin met at Live Modern School of Music in Miami, where they were placed in a classic rock cover band.[1][2] After the band broke up, Tenenbaum and Lewin formed Magdalena Bay in 2016.[1] The band's name was inspired by a colleague of Matthew's.[1] The duo released their debut song, "Voc Pop", on SoundCloud in 2016. The duo signed with indie record label Luminelle Recordings in 2019.[3] The duo released their debut studio album, Mercurial World, on October 8, 2021.[4][5][6]
