Stephanie Adams (b. July 24, 1970, Orange, New Jersey) is an American model, notable as the November 1992 Playboy Playmate. Adams, the first Playmate to become a lesbian spokesmodel[1], an advocate in the LGBT community[2], and a spirituality author.
Adams is involved in a lawsuit with a New York city taxicab driver, the NYC police, and the city of New York after a May 25, 2006 incident. According to the cab driver, Adams threatened him with a gun. However, when police searched her they did not find any gun. Adams claims that in the process the police pushed her to the ground unnecessarily.[3] Since then, the taxi driver has been fined as well as fired, the police are being investigated, and the lawsuit continues.[4] [5] [6]
