On September 22, 2021, the EP was released. Two limited editions of it were released with the title track's cover. One including a DVD, and the other including a Blu-ray.[4][5]

Music and lyrics

Musically, the EP is an electronic "mini-album", with the title track described as "French house-flavoured" and "a return" to Perfume's "original techno-pop style", incorporating "funky guitars and thumping 4/4 beats".[6] The original mix of "Polygon Wave" includes an additional minute and a half.
