Kuriakose Mar Clemis (born 1936) is Metropolitan of Thumpamon Diocese of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church (former Metropolitan of Sultan Bathery). He headed the administrative council of the Church due to demise of H.H. Baselios Marthoma paulose II,assisted by 4 other metropolitans, He presided the Malankara Association which held at Parumala Seminary on October 14th, 2021.[1] He was born 26 July 1936.[2] . He was the main celebrant as the senior Metropolitan with the assistance of 21 Metropolitans of the Holy Synod in the enthronement of H.H Baselios Marthoma Mathews 3 held at Parumala Seminary on 15th October 2021 at the age of 86 .
Ordinations
He was ordained as a deacon in 1957, as a priest in 1964 and as a bishop in 1991.[1]
