Reason for creation

I created this article as the player achieves WP:GNG (significant coverage), he has been called up to the full Wales squad and could become their youngest ever international player, as a result I considered that he is notable. TheBigJagielka (talk) 21:38, 9 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the move request was: no consensus. Both YOB and nationality are valid disambiguators per WP:NCSP. The argument for YOB is WP:CONSISTENCY, the argument for nationality seems to be that it is a more natural disambiguation. Support per WP:NCSP. Most conclusive and easiest to identify disambiguation given there is one Irish, one Welsh, one Scottish and two English footballers with the name Harry Wilson would be to use nationality as the primary disambiguation. If anyone recalls the first RM discussion on Talk:Jota (Spanish footballer), Struway2 pointed out that nationality would be "more conclusive disambiguator" - also from the relevant naming convension, the first point, point a), suggests that is the first way to decide the outcome. I actually find that really annoying what was done there. I have to search "Jota Peleteiro" to find him. Peleteiro is the most important part of his name and it's not even in the title. Govvy (talk) 11:23, 18 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
