Marigje De Grande

Marigje Degrande (born 7 August 1992) is a Belgian chess player from Bruges, West Flanders. She won the Belgian Chess Championship for women in 2006, 2007 and 2008. She has won the female Belgian Chess Championship for youngsters several times.

She participated in many Championships all over the world, with several success including a shared first place at the Tournament of the European Union in Austria.

Degrande took part in the World Amateur Chess Championship 2021 where she ended with a score of 7.5/9, finishing second overall and won the gold medal for women.[1]
