* The Roman imported obelisks as you can see [[List of obelisks in Rome]] and as out lined here [https://atlantipedia.ie/samples/tag/pantelleria-vecchia-bank/], Pantelleria was a major trading port where Egyptian jewellery where found. So it seems to me the simplest explanation is the megalith was a lost good at sea, probably during a storm it fell off board. So it seems to me the simplest explanation is the megalith was a lost good at sea, probably during a storm it fell off board.
