To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own personal sandbox for use any time. It's perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put {{My sandbox}}
on your user page. By the way, seeing as you haven't created a user page yet, simply click here to start it.
Please remember to:
- Always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes
~~~~
at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to your talk page, and a timestamp. - Leave descriptive edit summaries for your edits. Doing so helps other editors understand what changes you have made and why you made them.
Hello, I'm Kb03. I noticed that you recently removed content from I Had a Beautiful Time without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Universal Music Group Nashville, you may be blocked from editing. Robvanvee 06:58, 26 October 2020 (UTC)
Verify your edits
Evan, as you will no doubt have noticed, I have reverted many of your unsourced edits and there are still many I need to sort through. I'm sure that may come across as somewhat disparaging but may I request that you read this policy and when you do decide to make the sort of edits you favor, you do so with reliable sources accompanying them. If referencing is new to you then please read referencing for beginners. Thank you. Robvanvee 08:14, 26 October 2020 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Somebody's Needin' Somebody. It seems you have chosen to ignore my warnings as well as my personal plea above. If you continue adding unsourced information, I will be left with no choice other than to report this to WP:ANI. Your recent edits
Evan, please cite your sources when adding or changing content on Wikipedia. In this edit, you cited liner notes for your changes. Some of your other edits look like they might also be based on liner notes. However, you haven't given us any idea where you found this content. Please also note that communication is required because Wikipedia is a collaborative website. When people raise issues on your talk page (and at admin forums), you're expected to communicate. You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia by deliberately introducing incorrect information, as you did at He's Mine (Billy Ray Cyrus song). Binksternet (talk) 05:23, 14 November 2020 (UTC)
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for unresponsively, disruptively ignoring community concerns, edit warring, persistently adding unsourced content. If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} . ~ ToBeFree (talk) 20:51, 18 November 2020 (UTC)PLEASE UNBLOCK ME!!!!!
EvanTheMusicMan (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log)) Request reason: I don't put any fake information on the internet. I only forgot to source a couple things. That doesn't mean I deserve a "no expiry date block. Please have mercy on me. Decline reason: You need to commit to sourcing your edits, being responsive to community concerns and not edit warring. PhilKnight (talk) 05:28, 26 November 2020 (UTC) If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. EvanTheMusicMan (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log)) Request reason: I promise none of the stuff that I post about are not fake. Can you please unblock me? I promise not to war anyone on editing. I don't even know what that is. I can and WILL cite my sources next time and every time. If I make a commitment, I stand by it. Decline reason: How can you promise not to do something if you don't know what it is? Study WP:EDITWAR, and come back when you understand why that got you blocked. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆 𝄐𝄇 16:33, 28 November 2020 (UTC) If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. EvanTheMusicMan (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log)) Request reason: I promise not to engage in edit wars with other users. I understand other editors have other information that I don't have and want to include it in the article. I promise not to do that. I also vow to cite every single thing that I add to articles. I never intend to include fake information. I'll never let you down. Decline reason: I'm concerned by the second sentence of this unblock request, and am further concerned that the request doesn't demonstrate an understanding of what edit warring is and why it is disruptive. signed, Rosguill talk 18:54, 14 December 2020 (UTC) If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. I admit that I did not listen to the community when making edits. Since I've been blocked, I looked back the past posts on my talk page and I understand that I was unintentionally warring with other editors. I promise to follow all of the rules this time and make sure to source all of my sources EVERY SINGLE TIME. I will not let you down. Sorry!
Robvanvee, jpgordon, Sorry, I'll go add sources right now. By the way, the Morgan Wallen album, in terms of producers, was wrong. I looked at that particular source and found that the information was wrong, so I corrected it. Just click on the source and you'll see that I made the right correction. If you look at the page for his "Dangerous:The Double Album", it lists the correct producers right below the track listing. The page is all corrected now. Don't block me again! That was a nightmare to get unblocked in the first place.
Welcome back
Here's wishing you a welcome back to Wikipedia, EvanTheMusicMan. I see that you've already been around a while and wanted to thank you for your contributions. Though you seem to have been successful in finding your way around, you may still benefit from following some of the links below, which help editors get the most out of Wikipedia:
Please find a better source for this [3]. I don't want to revert it, I like what you did, but online retails are WP:NOTRSMUSIC and I will. (But not if you fix it first.) Maybe Discogs? It's also WP:NOTRSMUSIC but you can cite the artwork if it's got the year. Yappy2bhere (talk) 21:37, 24 September 2021 (UTC)
Thank you for contributing to the article Currensy discography. However, please do not use unreliable sources such as blogs, your own website, websites and publications with a poor reputation for checking the facts or with no editorial oversight, expressing views that are widely acknowledged as extremist, that are promotional in nature, or that rely heavily on rumors and personal opinions, as one of Wikipedia's core policies is that contributions must be verifiable through reliable sources, preferably using inline citations. If you require further assistance, please look at Help:Contents/Editing Wikipedia, or ask at the Teahouse.
