:Hi! I must admit I didn't look at the list of temporary codes. I'm not sure it's a good idea to include these in Wikipedia articles and ATC lists – They are still subject to objections until February 2022 (see the [https://www.whocc.no/filearchive/documents/temporary__atc_and_ddd_decissions_november_2021.xlsx Excel file]). If any of these isn't included in the final list (January 2023), it'll probably stay on Wikipedia indefinitely as wrong information. However, I won't object if you remove the fact tag. --[[User:Anypodetos|ἀνυπόδητος]] ([[User talk:Anypodetos#top|talk]]) 08:44, 29 November 2021 (UTC) |

Potato Bot still available?
Hi Anypodetos,
Been a while! Glad to see you're still active on WP.
Is Potato Bot still available? I'd like to add codes to language infoboxes to link to the Endangered Language Project, like we did for ISO and Glottolog. The ELP gives population data (nearly always sourced!) which is often at odds with Ethnologue. Plus, besides not being well sourced, Ethnologue is now a very expensive pay service ($2,400/year with maps, $480/year without), so our editors and readers would likely get more out of the ELP.
I have a .csv mapping of languages names, ISO codes, and ELP codes from the ELP. Actually, the ELP 'codes' are just a number to generate a URL for the article. I doubt they're used for anything else, so perhaps we don't want to display them openly, but that can be handled by the infobox template. We'll need them for the URL link regardless.
There are 3350 ELP codes for lects that have ISO codes, and 235 for ones that don't, or at least didn't when the list was compiled (some of which I should submit to ISO, I'm just tired of writing up ISO requests).
Happy New Year! — kwami (talk) 05:15, 4 January 2021 (UTC)
- Hi Kwami!
- I haven't done any Python / Wiki API programming in years, so it will take a while to get the bot going again. If you're not in a hurry, I'll look into it. Could you send me the CSV?
- And a Happy New Year to you, too! --ἀνυπόδητος (talk) 08:31, 4 January 2021 (UTC)
Emailed you. Probably easiest to send you the file that way. — kwami (talk) 08:46, 4 January 2021 (UTC)
Two redirects created by your bot have been nominated at RfD
Specifically Onian Li language and Li language (onian) created by user:PotatoBot have been nominated for deletion at Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2021 January 21#Onian Li language. Thryduulf (talk) 18:22, 21 January 2021 (UTC)
DYK nomination of Iobitridol
Hello! Your submission of Iobitridol at the Did You Know nominations page has been reviewed, and some issues with it may need to be clarified. DYK for Iobitridol
On 14 April 2021, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Iobitridol, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the contrast agent iobitridol can be injected into blood vessels, joints, or body cavities such as the uterus? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Iobitridol. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Iobitridol), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (i.e., 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Thank for good DYK reviewing in August! I liked yesterday's Main page, with 4 bolded names I brought there, all in memory: the TFA, nominated for a missed user, the pictured DYK (Alfred Biolek), and two under Recent deaths, Siegfried Matthus and Teresa Żylis-Gara. August harvest. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:18, 31 August 2021 (UTC)
Brand names
I noticed your recent edits to improve brand names in drug articles. You may be interested in these edits that added more brand names. --Whywhenwhohow (talk) 04:33, 21 April 2021 (UTC)
- Thanks! I think this is (undisclosed) promotional editing, but I'm not going to edit-war with them. --ἀνυπόδητος (talk) 09:04, 21 April 2021 (UTC)
