There should at least be a footnote about Frank Marshall Davis. He was the Presidents Mentor. Like a father to him according to "Dreams FROM my Father" by B Obama himself. Some even suggest that Davis is Barracks biological father. As is with the facts we know FMD player an imlortant enough role to be considered family. Please change death info for Ruth Lucille Armour(2.9) from "died November 26, 1926, from ptomaine poisoning." to "she died November 26, 1926, from suicide via strychnine poisoning."

Citation would be here:
https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/32315290
It contains her obituary/article

While she developed ptomaine, it was from the strychnine and suicide attempt. Wording would be up to the editor. [[User:Dianed4655|Dianed4655]] ([[User talk:Dianed4655|talk]]) 19:24, 17 November 2019 (UTC)

Family of Barack Obama
The Obama family was the First Family of the United States during the presidency of Barack Obama, from 2009 to 2017. Michelle Obama, Barack's wife, was raised on the South Side of Chicago, graduated from Princeton University and Harvard Law School, and met her husband while they worked at the law firm Sidley Austin. She campaigned actively during his two presidential campaigns, and as First Lady sought to become a role model for women and advocate for poverty awareness. The couple's children are Malia (born 1998) and Sasha (born 2001).Photograph: Pete Souza

hi there i want to make some changes in the page so please help me

You can suggest edits here on this talk page on the form "Please change X to Y" citing reliable sources. – Thjarkur (talk) 13:01, 17 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Should Malia have her own article?

I'm trying to figure out if it's worth pursuing to create an article for her prior to it being taken down. Similar to how Tiffany Trump has her own article. What's the difference between Tiffany and Malia? What are your opinions and why? Factfanatic1 (talk) 17:18, 26 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Factfanatic1, try making a draft first and then we can see. Emir of Wikipedia (talk) 17:24, 26 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This could be a good idea eventually. If so you could use a template like this:

  • 19 years, 11 months and 11 days

But you will need sourcing. WakandaQT (talk) 15:43, 26 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, it's pretty obvious that Malia at the very least has her own notable coverage (it's a very low bar, only two articles that are significant coverage of her individually). I'm not in the habit of making new articles though but yes, she would qualify. Macktheknifeau (talk) 03:54, 21 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hussein Onyango torture claims

Claims that Hussein Onyango was tortured in 1949 have been disputed by some, including by David Maraniss in Barack Obama: The Story. The article should probably make mention of this. --Eldomtom2 (talk) 22:50, 16 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The article should be titled 'Barack Obama's Family'. If I knew how to propose renaming I would do so. That is all.Robbmonster (talk) 02:52, 30 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
