Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Ahmed Mubarak Al Mahaijri, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Muscat (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

A tag has been placed on File:Al Muqbali.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you think that your page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Your submission at Articles for creation: Mahnad Al-Zaabi (September 16)

Thank you for your recent submission to Articles for Creation. Your article submission has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. Please view your submission to see the comments left by the reviewer. You are welcome to edit the submission to address the issues raised, and resubmit if you feel they have been resolved.

The article Hameed Al-Gilani has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article. The nominator also raised the following concern:

All biographies of living people created after March 18, 2010, must have references.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Thank you for uploading File:Raed Ibrahim.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can verify that it has an acceptable license status and a verifiable source. Please add this information by editing the image description page. You may refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. 1ForTheMoney (talk) 11:21, 23 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Problems with upload of File:Al-Suwaiq SC.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Al-Suwaiq SC.jpg. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or what the copyright status is. Your submission at Articles for creation: Mahnad Al-Zaabi (September 25)

I have reverted your edit to Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Mahnad Al-Zaabi, as Wikipedia does not guess who might play for which national football team next year. The policy is at WP:CRYSTAL. When he plays, and there are published reliable sources to say that he has played, then it can be added to the article. - David Biddulph (talk) 16:28, 30 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Mahnad Al-Zaabi. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Administrators have the ability to block users from editing if they repeatedly engage in vandalism. Thank you. - You have been told more than once, here and in edit summaries on your AFC draft, that Wikipedia is not a crystal ball, and that we can't claim in 2013 that we know who will play in an international team at some time in 2014. Your continuation of this behaviour is getting disruptive, so please confine yourself to what the subject has done, not what you think or hope that he might do at some stage in the future. - David Biddulph (talk) 13:11, 1 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Omani League, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Muscat and Fanja (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

The article Mohammed Faraj Al-Rawahi has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Article about a footballer who fails WP:GNG and who has not played in a fully pro league. The claim that he has played for Oman is false. He was named to the bench for the match in question but did not actually play.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Sir Sputnik (talk) 02:03, 25 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of Mohammed Faraj Al-Rawahi for deletion

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Mohammed Faraj Al-Rawahi is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Mohammed Faraj Al-Rawahi until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. Sir Sputnik (talk) 06:58, 25 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Mohammed Faraj Al-Rawahi, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Information icon A tag has been placed on Mohammed Faraj Al-Rawahi requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia, because it appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion process. If you can indicate how it is different from the previously posted material, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's discussion directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. If you believe the original discussion was unjustified, please contact the administrator who deleted the page or use deletion review instead of recreating the page. Thank you. Hello. Please:

1 - don't remove the player position in intro again; 2 - don't start the DEFAULTSORT with the letter "E", it's "Marcelino, Edgar" not "Edgar Marcelino", per WP rules; 3 - don't write "Omantel League" again, sponsors are forbidden by WP.

Thank you --AL (talk) 02:13, 6 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Deumaga Tchangou.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". A tag has been placed on File:KresoSanadBahrain.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". File permission problem with File:KoljaninNasr.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:KoljaninNasr.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Anupmehra -Let's talk! 16:12, 3 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:MarinkoNasr.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.

If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.

Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Anupmehra -Let's talk! 16:18, 3 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Image without license

Unspecified source/license for File:Mo7nadNahda.png

Thanks for uploading File:Mo7nadNahda.png. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Daniel Zdrâncă, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. Speedy deletion tagging

Hi. Just wondering why you tagged a bunch of articles you created with speedy deletion tags? At first glance they don't seem terrible, and appear to pass WP:NFOOTY. Sam Walton (talk) 18:10, 24 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Images about to be deleted

Hi There. I've been reviewing your image uploads and come to the conclusion that you do not own the photos but instead have taken at least many of them from websites. A number of your uploads have been deleted as obvious copyright violations and looking through them I suspect most if not all are. Can you please tell me: did you take these photos with your own camera ? If you did I'd like to know why so many of them have been found on news and other websites - Peripitus (Talk) 09:33, 4 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Peripitus Sir those which have been seen on news and other websites are so because the person for whom I have Wikipedia are active on Social networking websites and hence are famous in the places they live in. These photos then are uploaded by their known ones on the websites and I loose the ownership. Sometimes as I am unaware of that I upload the pictures and those are deleted even though they are mine. Alhosniomani20 (talk) 12:16, 4 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I am not sure what you mean. Do you mean you upload them to Wikipedia then people taken the photos and put them on other websites ?
  • You uploaded File:DiMirandaLeoBrazilOman.jpg which is a cropped version of the image [from here]. Do you have the origional camera photo of this ? You stated "Photographer email id - alhosniomani20@gmail.com" but the image on the website states "Foto: Leandro Fernandes/QFC" and I can see that the image was taken with a Nikon D300S.
  • You uploaded File:SopeADEIndia.jpg which is a crop of the image [here]
  • You uploaded File:TimorPauloMartins.jpg and I can see here that there is a larger version available online.
  • You uploaded File:GhassaniArmyOman.jpg which is a crop of this one where the logo has been cropped out. This image was taken with a Canon EOS 60D. Do you own both a Nikon D300S and a Canon 60D ?

For any of these do you have the original camera image you can upload here ? - Peripitus (Talk) 08:27, 5 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

No response ? I can see that quite a few of your uploads have been deleted as copyright violations. I am intending to delete all of the images you have uploaded as copyright violations unless you can adequately answer the above questions. Can you upload the original unedited version of one of these images ? - Peripitus (Talk) 11:44, 9 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Peripitus Ok I admit that these are not my images but I have uploaded them as I got the permission from the owners of two of these images. File:DiMirandaLeoBrazilOman.jpg File:GhassaniArmyOman.jpg Please I won't repeat this. It was only done to help the players I have made Wikipedia for. I didn't intend to break the rules. Sorry Alhosniomani20 (talk) 12:56, 9 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for saying that. I've cleaned up these images. Please keep on editing the articles, you are editing in an area of the English Wikipedia that needs more coverage. As for the two files you mention the image's owners need to follow the instructions at Wikipedia:Declaration_of_consent_for_all_enquiries or they will have to create accounts here and upload themselves. - Peripitus (Talk) 12:14, 10 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Peripitus Why have you deleted all my pictures? Except these 4 pictures all are from my cameras. Please I request you to put them back. Please. Alhosniomani20 (talk) 12:30, 10 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Peripitus You can see that only two more pictures excluding these 4 have been deleted. Those two from my mobile but I didn't know how to prove myself innocent. Please I request you to put back all the other images. Alhosniomani20 (talk) 13:03, 10 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Images

Let me explain why I've deleted all of the images you uploaded. You have had quite a few deleted as obvious copyright violations (where users supplied the web address of where the image was taken from). Other images were taken in different countries around the world. Some images were obviously taken with vastly different cameras, in a way that shows they were taken by different people. All of the images appeared to have been edited for uploading on the internet and for most the record of the original camera had been removed from the file.

Perhaps some or many were your images but given the above details how can I tell which are yours and which were taken by other people ? The only way is for you to upload the original, unedited file. If you took the original with your phone or camera this should be straightforward. Peripitus (Talk) 10:03, 11 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

So I am not getting my images back? This is just so unfair. 100s of those are from my cameras. Will you delete them again if I upload them? Really I have began to hate such policies. You don't want the players to be known to the world that means.Alhosniomani20 (talk) 11:17, 11 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Is it fair that you uploaded images taken from websites and claimed they were yours ? How are we to tell which images are yours and which are not ? How about you upload a couple of your images, without editing, as they came direct from your camera. We'll then see what we can do - Peripitus (Talk) 07:38, 12 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

So that means if you commit a mistake once you suffer the worst. I told you that I got permission from them and without knowing anything Wikipedia takes decisions? Very well then. Keep it up. Alhosniomani20 (talk) 08:16, 12 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I am most concerned that you are uploading images with the same issues as previously. Not one of them is the original image from your camera and none of them state where or when they were taken. You appear to have just uploaded images that are from Nigeria and from Oman - where you in both of these countries ?. Can you PLEASE upload a single original image of one of these without editing and details on the date and place you took the photo. Without this data how can we trust that the images are yours. - Peripitus (Talk) 10:53, 13 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Ok I have to upload in the same way? And then post the links here. I have never stated date and location in any of my images I have uploaded till date. I will do it from now on. Yes I have been to more than 17 countries. I am a Sports Photographer by Profession. Alhosniomani20 (talk) 12:07, 13 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:MazdaProCupOman.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:MazdaProCupOman.jpg.

You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. My name isnotdave (talk/contribs) 17:31, 30 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Alhosniomani20. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, James Kotei, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. OluwaCurtis »» (talk to me) 17:33, 9 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:TchoumeCedricAgainstNasr″.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted content borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". Akanksha Damini Joshi moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Akanksha Damini Joshi, does not have enough reliable sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. Speedy deletion nomination of Khel Now

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

A tag has been placed on Category:Football mass media in India indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.
