ArbCom 2021 Elections voter message

Hello! Voting in the 2021 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 6 December 2021. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. Untitled

Hi I don't see an add topic button, just this add section so here I go. I tried to be bold and create a new page for Moira Smiley. I created a draft first. I guess I didn't publish the page properly. I realized I had accidently not capitalized her last name, so the only way I could find to correct it was to move it to a new page spelled correctly. Then it got flagged, so I marked it for deletion. I'd like to try again with a fresh page. I saved the text. Please advise if you would be so kind and then I'll try again without the redirect. thanks! Colliedog (talk) 16:52, 27 November 2021 (UTC)

Hello Colliedog! I don't exactly remember every detail from the article. It had some external links in the body paragraph, which either should be removed or moved to a special section at the end of the article, if it's appropiate. To have an article in Wikipedia, the subject must meet the general notability guideline, which in short means that there must be multiple reliable, independent and significant sources about the subject. Hi Styyx. I'll try again and add a few more references. I believe she meets the general notability guidelines, so I'll add some more references and try again. Hi Styyx. Thanks for pointing out problems. I figured out what you meant about links and the external ones have been moved to that section at the bottom. I've added a couple more references to help with notability requirements.
