Rae of Sunshine is an episode of the popular Disney Channel Original Series That's So Raven.

Plot

Raven hosts a slumber party at her house for the local Bayside Girl Scouts, so Sydney can make friends. So, Sydney makes fun of Raven to get the other girls to like her. When Raven hears this, she is mad at Sydney and says she is "the biggest brat of them all." Sydney hears and is now mad at Raven, so she helps the other girls in a plan where they trap Raven in a net and poke her with a stick. Raven and Sydney talk and eventually, all the girls say they can be friends with Sydney and Raven. Meanwhile, Cory takes Eddie and Chelsea to a sneak preview of Night of the Living Darned. Once at the movie theater, Chelsea is crunching loudly on popcorn, and Eddie is expecting his girlfriend, Nicole, to call. Cory reminds him that he must silence his cell phone in the theater, so Eddie puts it on vibrate. He calls Nicole, and finds out that she is in the row in front of them with another boy. Cory gets frustrated by Eddie and Chelsea's loudness and yells, "DOESN'T ANYBODY JUST WATCH A MOVIE ANYMORE?!" The usher hears him and makes him leave. At the end of the episode, Cory decides to wait to see the movie again since he didn't get to see the ending of it, but Eddie and Chelsea come back from the movie and spoil it for him.

• This is the fifth episode appearance of actress Johari Johnson (who played the the theater usher).
• If the Girl Scouts team goes by the name, Bayside Girl Scouts, then the school that Sydney, Buffy, etc. go to must be called "Bayside Elementary School".
• When Eddie and Chelsea returned from the movie Chelsea said that the sheriff was one of the darned the whole time. This was probably a spoof of the 1960 film Village of the Damned.
• Buffy wears a jacket when invading Raven's room similar to the one Raven and Sydney wore on Raven, Sydney, and the Man.
• When they lock Raven out of her room, you can see outfits worn in the past by her on the troops.

• When Eddie waits for Nicole to call at the theater, you can see his cell phone is open, yet he has to open it when his mom calls.
