I would argue that the link is good and AS relevant as a Hogan Stand link or a link to a Clubs website. I was not TRYING to get around it by logging in as this account, this is my account and I had presumed I was logged in under in initially.

License tagging for Image:1952-53 Senior Football.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:1952-53 Senior Football.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 10:04, 21 September 2006 (UTC)

Regarding edits made to Laois GAA

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia, Theram! However, your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove spam from Wikipedia. If you were trying to insert a good link, please accept my creator's apologies, but note that the link you added, matching rule laoistalk\.com, is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. Please read Wikipedia's external links policy for more information. If the link was to an image, please read Wikipedia's image tutorial on how to use a more appropriate method to insert the image into an article. If your link was intended to promote a site you own, are affiliated with, or will make money from inclusion in Wikipedia, please note that inserting spam into Wikipedia is against policy. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! Shadowbot 15:56, 6 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Inserting the link into multiple pages where it has no relevance is considered spam under Wikipedia policy. In addition, do not try to evade the block placed on your IP address by using this account to edit. Doing so will likely result in a block being placed on this account as well. I would argue that the link is good and AS relevant as a Hogan Stand link or a link to a Clubs website. I was not TRYING to get around it by logging in as this account, this is my account and I had presumed I was logged in under in initially.

Then could you explain why you ignored Shadowbot's warnings to stop inserting the link? Shadow1 (talk) 16:14, 6 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
