Owen Simonin (aka Hasheur), born in May 1997 in Bastia, is a French entrepreneur, influencer, youtuber and speaker specializing in blockchain and cryptocurrency technologies.
He is considered one of the ambassadors of the cryptocurrency ecosystem in France thanks to his popularization work on his Youtube channel Hasheur[2].
Biography
Career
As an advocate of cryptocurrencies and blockchain, he created the educational youtube channel, "Hasheur" in 2016. In May 2017, he founded the fintech Just Mining with his brother William Simonin, to make investing in cryptocurrency mining accessible and offer investment solutions (staking, masternodes). At the end of 2017, he released a video, "the scam of the century"[3] to denounce BitConnect, a ponzi scheme that collapsed a few months later[4][5][6].
Awards
In 2020, he was awarded European Influencer of the Year at the Binance Award 2020[7], a ceremony organized by Binance, the world's leading cryptocurrency exchange platform.
