== Sugestions for a more appropriate non-regionalised name ==

This item is something that would be used all around the world and would be known by a different name in every country. If I asked a foreigner for a 'stubby cooler', they wouldn't understand me. If I then re-phrased my request for a 'koozie' they still would not understand me. If I then asked for 'a sleeve to keep my drink cool' they likely ''would'' understand me. We really need a generic name for this article. For the record this is the first time I've ever seen the term 'koozie'.
I do find the earlier proposed name [[Beer Insulated Beverage Container]] grammatically non-nonsensical though.
How about these:
*'dink holder'
*'insulated drink holder'
*'insulated beverage holder'.

Sugestions for a more appropriate non-regionalised name

This item is something that would be used all around the world and would be known by a different name in every country. If I asked a foreigner for a 'stubby cooler', they wouldn't understand me. If I then re-phrased my request for a 'koozie' they still would not understand me. If I then asked for 'a sleeve to keep my drink cool' they likely would understand me. We really need a generic name for this article. For the record this is the first time I've ever seen the term 'koozie'. I do find the earlier proposed name Beer Insulated Beverage Container grammatically non-nonsensical though. How about these:

  • 'dink holder'
  • 'insulated drink holder'
  • 'insulated beverage holder'.
