Vibranium

The current page states:

By October 2013, the metal vibranium, which comes from Black Panther's home nation Wakanda, was introduced in the Marvel Cinematic Universe;[82] Marvel had considered showing Wakanda itself as early as Iron Man 2 (2010), but were waiting until they had "a full idea" of how to depict it.[10]

Vibranium was introduced to the MCU in Captain America: The First Avenger, released in July 2011.

While they may not have shown Wakanda in Iron Man 2 (as in being in the country), it was shown to be highlighted on a map while Tony and Nick Fury discuss his suitability for the Avenger Initiative.

Both of these items can be seen in a video promoting Black Panther, narrated by Chadwick Boseman himself. It can be viewed here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lL_OftoO_Ok

@Facu-el Millo: The logo meets all the requirements of WP:LOGO and complies with our fair use requirements. You mentioned the significance requirement in your reversion, as you can see from WP:NFC#CS:

Two of the most common circumstances in which an item of non-free content can meet the contextual significance criterion are:
  • where the item is itself the subject of sourced commentary in the article, or
  • where only by including such non-free content, can the reader identify an object, style, or behavior, that is a subject of discussion in the article.

...this image would qualify as the item itself is the subject of the sourced commentary in the article, and only by including the non-free content can the reader identify an object ... that is the subject of discussion in the article. Was there any other reason you had for excluding the logo? —Locke Coletc 22:01, 10 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Locke Cole: It isn't the subject of the sourced commentary in the article though. This article is about the film Black Panther, not the sequel. The logo is therefore disallowed on this article as a WP:NONFREE image, and should go on the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever article when published. IronManCap (talk) 22:05, 10 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Also, it isn't true that only by including the non-free content can the reader identify an object.... that is the subject of discussion in the article. It isn't the subject of discussion as it isn't what the article is about, and it isn't needed for depiction as there is no infobox or anything like that. Just wait till Draft:Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is published, and we can add the logo there, properly sourced. IronManCap (talk) 22:08, 10 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
There's also no sourced commentary of relevance here. Locke Cole just added that a logo was released. Per WP:FILMMARKETING, merely stating the existence or release of trailers, posters, or logos isn't notable, and there isn't notable commentary for this logo, which still wouldn't be relevant enough for this article if it existed, since it isn't about this article's subject. —El Millo (talk) 22:11, 10 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I strongly disagree with your interpretation of it, but I'm also not willing to edit war further over it. You win. —Locke Coletc 22:36, 10 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
