I would take liberty mentioning that recently Liaqat Bagh to Faizabad Namoos-e-Risalatﷺ March, which later transformed to [[2017_Faizabad_sit-in | Dharna Faizabad]] against French Blasphemy, was officially under the superintendence of late [[ Khadim Hussain Rizvi ]] R.A but it was actually administrated and led by his son ''' Allama Hafiz Saad Hussain Rizvi ''' in the field, leading from the forefront against 22,000 tear gas shells and direct firing of thousands of bullets. As per my understanding, ''' Allama Hafiz Saad Hussain Rizvi''' holds a loyal place among grass root level organization and supporters of TLP especially in youth of modern education sector because of his backstage strenuous and protracted innings from the beginning with [[ Khadim Hussain Rizvi]] (R.A). Saad Hussain Rizvi (Template:Lang-ur) is the second Ameer of Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan,[2][3][4] a far-right Pakistani Islamist political party. He is the son of the TLP's founder Khadim Hussain Rizvi.[5]

Early life

Saad Rizvi was born in Attock then moved to Lahore Masjid Rehmatal-lil-Almeen (Yateem Khanna Chowk, Lahore) where his father was Khateeb.[1] He took admission in a local school at Yateem Khana Chowk near his residence "The Royal Grammar School" where he got his primary education. Afterwards, he joined his father's Madrassah Abbu Zar Ghaffari for Hifz-E-Quran. Later, he studied Qirat-o-Tajweed for a year as well.[1] He is fluent in Arabic, Persian, Urdu and Punjabi languages.[1]

Education

He is a well versed Hafiz-E-Quran, a Qari and have a strong grip on Sarf-O-Nahv Arabic & Persian Grammar ), Tafsir-e-Quran , Hadith , Kalaam-E-Iqbal , Mevlana Rumi , Hafez Shirazi , Sheikh Saadi Sherazi, Akbar Allahabadi and many more.He is not Sheikh-ul-Hadees wal Tafseer like his Father Khadim Hussain Rizvi because of his very young age but he has been under the strict supervision of Khadim Hussain Rizvi from the very beginning. After Hifz-e-Quran under his father Khadim Hussain Rizvi's superintendence he again entered school for further education but as per ALLAH's will, he was not meant for English schooling. At that exact moment, when Allama Hafiz Saad Hussain Rizvi was just 13 years old, his Father Khadim Hussain Rizvi met a car accident near Attock Talagang Road due to negligence of driver which paralyzed Khadim Hussain Rizvi ’s both legs, this accident effected the schooling of Allama Hafiz Saad Hussain Rizvi a little and he earned matriculation certificate privately. Moreover, he joined Madrassah again where Khadim Hussain Rizvi was teaching, so that he could be closer to take proper care of him. Then he managed to complete his own Dars-e-Nizami education, equivalent to Master's Degree in Arabic & Persian Islamic Studies in Higher Education System, under the supervision of Khadim Hussain Rizvi in Dar-ul-Uloom Nomaniyah, Bhati Gate, Lahore at the age of 23. He is fluent in Arabic , Persian , Urdu & Punjabi languages. He has a good taste of English as well, due to his primary and secondary education at school.[1][2][6][7][1]

2021 protests

On 12 April 2021, the Government of Pakistan arrested Rizvi in Lahore and charged under Pakistan's Anti-Terrorism Act, 1997 (ATA), which further angered protesters, causing widespread unrest.[12][13][14][15][16]

Attiq Ahmed, the public relations officer of Punjab Prisons said on 20 April that Saad Rizvi had been released. Lahore's Jail Superintendent Asad Warraich however said he didn't know of any such release and they had received no order to release him.[17] Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad later confirmed that Rizvi had not been freed.[18]

A review board of the Lahore High Court rejected extending Saad's detention on 8 July, stating the government had no evidence to keep him in custody.[19] His detention was however later extended by the government for 90 days under the Anti-Terrorism Act 1997.[20] The Lahore High Court ruled his detention illegal on 1 October, in response to a petition filed by his uncle.[21] The federal review board of the Supreme Court however extended his detention by a month on the next day.[22]

The Government of Punjab later appealed to the Supreme Court against the Lahore High Court's decision, but it handed over the case on 12 October to a two-member special bench of the Lahore High Court to decide.[23] The TLP later again took to protests to demand his release.[24] After a deal reached between the Government of Pakistan and the TLP, the ban on the organisation was removed and Rizvi's name was removed from the terrorism watchlist on 12 November.[25] He was released from prison on 18 November.[26][27]
