Construction

Tobacco blend,

This section appears to refer entirely to U.S. made cigarettes. E.g. Canadian cigarettes are almost exclusively Brightleaf Virginia and differ in additives and emissions.^[1] Cigarettes in other countries are also markedly different in constituents from North American cigarettes, e.g. French Gauloises & Gitanes. The subsection should either make clear that it refers only to U.S. cigarettes, or be expanded to include other, representative countries. - D Anthony Patriarche (talk)

Section about smoking cessation

The section about smoking cessation mentions nicotine replacement therapy, and Varenicline, but does not mention Bupropion, another drug commonly prescribed to aid smoking cessation. The article is locked, so there is no way for me to add this information. Does the fact that Buproprion is a generic drug, while Varenicline's patent is still valid, have anything to do with this article being locked?

Wikipedia is no longer an unbiased, (or accurate), source in the least, which is sad.

Australia is cutting their overall smoking consumption faster than most of the developed world, in part due to landmark Plain Packaging Act, which standardized the appearance of cigarette packs. Other countries have considered similar measures. In New Zealand, a bill has been presented to parliament in which the government's associate health minister said "takes away the last means of promoting tobacco as a desirable product."[132]

Graphic Warnings

Germany also has pictures in addition to text on their cigarette packs. An interesting note may also be that the German government has been sued at least twice for using images of corpses either without permission or of non smokers to portray smoking deaths.
