The Law Clinic
In October 2003 the Law School set up what remains the first and only University-run Law Clinic in Scotland. The Law Clinic offers free legal advice and help to patrons of Glasgow and the surrounding area who cannot afford a solicitor or do not qualify for legal aid. Dealing with mainly Employment and Small Claims issues, the Clinic has branched out in recent years into Planning, Environmental, and Landlord and Tenant areas of law, helping a vast amount of people along the way.
Current Law Clinic offices are located on Level 3 of the Lord Hope Building, on the University of Strathclyde John Anderson campus.
The current Law Clinic Director is founder Professor Donald Nicolson.
