Coordinates

The coordinates are listed as 38°46′48″N 77°23′11″W but that is not at the intersection for Chapel Rd and Main Street which is considered the center of town. Can we updated them to something closer to the Chapel Rd and Main Street intersection (e.g., 38.7802532, -77.3867012) or are they from an official source like the Census Bureau?Mrdvt92 (talk) 21:12, 24 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Clifton points of interest

Could someone explain what all the points of interest are? KeepOnTruckin 20:56, 20 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Communities in Clifton

Should Little Rocky Run and Union Mills really be listed as "communities in Clifton"? It is my understanding that they are just neighborhoods in Fairfax County. Clifton is actually an incorporated town within Fairfax County. Ketone16 (talk) 22:20, 28 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I also noticed this disconnect. The Clifton mailing address is much larger than the town. But, this page is specifically for the town not the zip code.Mrdvt92 (talk) 20:46, 24 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Town Only

This article is about the town of Clifton, and should not include information about areas in Fairfax County that are in the Clifton ZIP code area. Admittedly, because Clifton is so small (1/4 sq. mi.) this would limit what information could exist in the article. There are a number of areas, especially in Points of Interest, that are not within the town limits. Unless someone objects, I'll take out the extraneous information. --Tim Sabin (talk) 17:50, 30 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Updated Statistics

Are the latest statistic changes correct? If they are, there's a lot of other changes that need to be made. Example: A change in elevation by meters requires a change in elevation by feet. This was not done.

Removed incorrect information about being the first town in Fairfax County,

I removed the line about Clifton being the first town established in Fairfax County as being incorrect. It was actually the sixth, following Fairfax, Falls Church, Herndon, Vienna, and Wiehle.--Chuckhoffmann (talk) 16:41, 27 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Bunny Man Bridge

Why is this listed as a point of interest? The bridge is nowhere near Clifton. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 151.207.250.71 (talk) 12:01, 25 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
