GoingBatty, sorry for the mixup. I am not getting paid for these changes. I know a lot about Kessler Foundation and that some of the information that is cited now is incorrect, so I was trying to update it. I am in the disability field and I know what is being done at Kessler Foundation. It has grown considerably since the past 10 years that the wikipedia page has been updated. For example, under the PROGRAM section, those 2 programs are no longer happening there. Plus, there is a new Center for Autism Research that is being launched this month. This edit to 2022 Pro Bowl is tagged "missing file added". What was the exact process you used to upload the logo before this edit? GoingBatty (talk) 04:48, 4 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you

Thank you for answering my question about how to eventually publish my page, The Actors' Group. I will try to declare my COI. In addition to being the president of the theater, I am its historian, so the logical person to do this, and frankly, no one else will really take the time to do. The photo of myself is a screen shot of my photo as every time I tried to upload it I couldn't. I'm not sure why. I mean, it's my head shot, and, I have the permission of a number of other members of our theater to use their head shots. So at this point I'm experimenting with putting images, but I'm perplexed about why things are being accepted. I'm aware of the COI and how it will impact the writing, so given that, I will be mindful of being as truthful as possible. But there are certain things that involve me that are pure fact. I mean, I did found the theater and have always been a part of it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Enemoto (talkcontribs) 21:13, 4 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Enemoto: Per WP:5P2: "All articles must strive for verifiable accuracy, citing reliable, authoritative sources.... Editors' personal experiences, interpretations, or opinions do not belong on Wikipedia." Anything in your draft based on your memories should be removed before you submit the draft, even if you know the statements are pure fact. If your draft becomes an article, you will not be allowed to edit it due to your COI, but you will be able to make suggestions on the article's talk page. BattyBot added an unexpected "." on its own line

See this edit. I don't see any reason why it needed to add the "." after {{DVD}}; I think that would be a bug? --Pokechu22 (talk) 22:39, 4 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Pokechu22: One of AWB's general fixes is to fix the layout of items in an article. In this case, AWB moved the "." from after the stub tag to above the categories. Thanks for editing the article to delete it. GoingBatty (talk) 22:43, 4 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

A kitten for you!

Hey, can you review Starscixn Article is good or not?

Abcfriends (talk) 07:51, 5 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Abcfriends: Looks like the article has been nominated for speedy deletion. It appears that there are not multiple independent reliable sources that provide significant coverage of the musician, and it's not clear how he meets Wikipedia's notability criteria for musicians. Make a Difference Foundation Submission

Hi GoingBatty,

You recently commented on this AfC Draft: Make a Difference Foundation that For example, the "Funding" section has no independent reliable sources..

As you said "for example" - which of the other sources do you believe to be not independent or reliable, and why?

I am reviewing the Funding section so that further references can be made. I hope that I can better understand your other points so that I can improve on the AfC.

Kind regards,D.C. at MAD Foundation Inc. (talk) 01:24, 14 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@D.C. at MAD Foundation Inc.: The "Funding" section has one reference: the "MAD Foundation 2020-21 Annual Report". Any publications created by MAD are not independent. GoingBatty (talk) 01:30, 14 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi GoingBatty,

It is within Wikipedia guidelines to include references which are not independent. Anecdotally, I tested this out by going to Facebook's Wikipedia page. The first few references are all from Facebook's website itself. Where is the difference here? I am not attacking your point, I'm just wanting to clarify why the references - if used in a declarative and impartial way - cannot be included?

Kind regards, D.C. at MAD Foundation Inc. (talk) 04:44, 14 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@D.C. at MAD Foundation Inc.: I didn't say you can't use the report as a reference. Your goal is to demonstrate that MAD meets Wikipedia's notability guideline for organizations, and that requires that the draft contains "significant coverage in multiple reliable secondary sources that are independent of the subject". The concern I stated is that you have a lot of information in the "Funding" section that is not referenced, and it would be preferable to use independent sources for it. The Facebook article has over 600 references, most of which are independent sources, so it's OK to have a few self-published sources for the statistics in the infobox. GoingBatty (talk) 05:06, 14 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi GoingBatty,

Thanks for clarifying. I hope to include more references soon.

WP:AFC Helper News

Hello! I wanted to drop a quick note for all of our AFC participants; nothing huge and fancy like a newsletter, but a few points of interest.

  • AFCH will now show live previews of the comment to be left on a decline.
  • The template {{db-afc-move}} has been created - this template is similar to {{db-move}} when there is a redirect in the way of an acceptance, but specifically tells the patrolling admin to let you (the draft reviewer) take care of the actual move.

Short and sweet, but there's always more to discuss at WT:AFC. Stop on by, maybe review a draft on the way? Whether you're one of our top reviewers, or haven't reviewed in a while, I want to thank you for helping out in the past and in the future. Cheers, Primefac, via MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 16:00, 16 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Here is what the GA reviewer replied -> @Doug Coldwell: ^ Have you seen this comment? ^ What I want is columns for model name, cost, weight, wheelbase, gauge, brief description and other details not in other columns and image. Steelkamp (talk) 16:19, 17 February 2022 (UTC) Is that something that can be done. If so, could you get me started and I will see if I can carry it on through to complete the table. Thanks a bunch.--Doug Coldwell (talk) 18:25, 17 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Doug Coldwell: I've added the columns, and reformatted the photos. You can use the VisualEditor to copy/cut information from the "Description" column, and paste it into the other columns. GoingBatty (talk) 18:55, 17 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Doug Coldwell: My pleasure! Did you need help with a table for the "Lambert trucks" section too? GoingBatty (talk) 21:07, 17 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
No. It looks good that way it's at, I do believe. Thanks for offer. You are an excellent editor in knowing things like what you helped me on. Thanks again. --Doug Coldwell (talk) 21:14, 17 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Draft:Best Practice of Technology Commercialisation Programs at GCC and USA Universities‎

Hello, I hope you are well

When I publish an article on Wikipedia, it stays next to the article name (Draft). how can I edit it to just the name of the article without the word "draft"? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mahmoud W. 2001 (talkcontribs) 18:58, 17 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Mahmoud W. 2001: When you're ready to have the draft reviewed, add {{subst:submit}} to the top. A reviewer will then determine whether your draft is ready to become an article. As of now, the draft probably wouldn't be accepted, as it does not yet seem to meet Wikipedia's notability criteria for books. Happy editing! GoingBatty (talk) 20:35, 17 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
