Chahat Pandey (born 1 June 1999) is an Indian television actress, model and dancer[2] known for playing Pakhi Naksh Parekh (née Joshi) in Hamari Bahu Silk[3] and Durga Dev Aneja (née Prasad) in Durga – Mata Ki Chhaya.[4]

Life and family

Chahat Pandey was born on 1 June 1999 in Damoh city of Madhya Pradesh to Bhawana and Mani Pandey. At the age of 9, she lost her father. She has two younger brothers, Rahat and Sahas Pandey.[5]

Pandey completed her primary education from Chandi Chopra village and 10th standard from Adarsh School, Damoh. In 2013, at the age of 15, she shifted to Mumbai to pursue her acting career and completed the rest of her education there.[6][7]

Career

Pandey debuted in 2013, with an episodic role in Life Ok TV show Savdhaan India. In 2017, She got her first lead role as Radha in Star Bharat show RadhaKrishn opposite Sumedh Mudgalkar and also starred in it's first teaser, however, was replaced by Mallika Singh due to creative differences.[8][9]

Pandey's most prominent roles were playing the leads as Pakhi Naksh Parekh (née Joshi) in Hamari Bahu Silk and Durga Dev Aneja (née Prasad) in Durga – Mata Ki Chhaya. Currently, Pandey is playing the lead role of Mahua in Dangal TV show Nath Zewar Ya Zanjeer opposite Arjit Taneja and Avinash Mishra.[10]
