The '''Khosa''', Khoso, or Khosug (Balochi: کھوسگ, ''Sindhi'':کھوسو, Urdu: کھوسھ ,کھوسو‎, are a Baloch tribe of Pakistan. According to Baloch history, Khoso was the grandson of Hooth and Hooth was the son of Rind. According to Balouch epics Khoso means brave or “The Warrior”. Different books write it differently but they all agree that Khoso means “The Warrior”. The Khoso are one of forty tribes of Balouch which have survived since the 11th century A.D. According to Balouch historians, tribes have merged into one another and only few survived to live with their own identity.

Khoso tribe name is found in many poems (11th and 12th century) of Balouch epic. They have settled in Balochistan District Jafarabad, Nasirabad, Sindh and the Punjab provinces of Pakistan. The Khosa tribe is settled in the Dera Ghazi Khan district in Punjab and parts of Sindh,Jacobabad, Sukkur (Sindh), Shahdadkot, and Dadu.
