James Beaumont (born 11 November 1984) is an English former professional footballer who played in midfield. Beaumont joined Nottingham Forest from Newcastle United in 2003.

After football
Beaumont graduated from Staffordshire University with a degree in Professional Sports Writing and Broadcasting in the summer of 2008.
Further to his interest in journalism, he also took an interest in Minor Counties cricket, becoming an ice cream vendor at matches on occasion.
